Compare the 2026 Ram 1500 vs. the Ford F-150 In Madison, GA
2026 Ram 1500 vs. 2026 Ford F-150: Which Truck Serves Your Needs Best in Madison, GA?
Full-size pickup trucks aren't just used for work tasks. Nowadays, Madison, GA drivers also rely on their trucks for commuting to the office and off-road adventures. The new Ram 1500 can handle a hefty workload, but it also delivers a gentle ride quality and a comfortable, well-appointed cab. The new Ford F-150 has stout workhorse capabilities, but it falls short of the Ram 1500's overall refinement. At Countryside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Madison, we developed the following comparison to help you choose between these two trucks.
Performance and Ride Quality
If you frequently use your truck for everyday driving around Athens, the new Ram 1500 is a wonderful choice. Its five-link, coil-spring rear suspension absorbs the impact of most bumps in the road for a cushioned ride on pavement. An available Active-Level Four Corner Air Suspension offers adjustable ride heights for exceptional off-road handling.
The new Ford F-150 comes standard with a conventional leaf springs suspension that can cause it to bounce a little on imperfect streets in Eatonton. Tremor trims and above have uniquely tuned off-roading suspensions, but they're not quite as versatile as the Ram 1500's air suspension.
Interior Space
Like most pickups, the new Ram 1500 has roomy front seats and plenty of headroom. However, Ram 1500 Crew Cab models have 45.2 inches of rear legroom, so even taller Atlanta passengers have ample space to stretch their legs.
The Ford F-150 also has a roomy interior, but it's not as spacious as the Ram 1500. Rear seat passengers in the F-150 SuperCrew Cab only get 43.6 inches of legroom.
Technology
A nice infotainment system can make long drives to Greensboro more enjoyable. The Ram 1500 Tungsten trim comes with a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a front passenger interactive touchscreen display. Both displays are easy to see and access, and even your co-pilot can perform some functions.
The lone infotainment touchscreen offered by the Ford F-150 is a 12-inch unit. The F-150 doesn't offer a passenger-side display.
